The GPS Tools modules enable you to calculate and sort distances based on geographical coordinates.
Getting Started with GPS Tools
Prerequisites
- GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude) of the desired locations
Calculate and Sort Distance
Calculate Distance
Calculates the direct distance between two geographical coordinates.
Origin Latitude
Enter the latitude of the first location in the following format:
- Decimal degrees, e.g.
41.40338
Origin Longitude
Enter the longitude of the first location in the following format:
- Decimal degrees, e.g.
2.17403
Destination Latitude
Enter the latitude of the second location in the following format:
- Decimal degrees, e.g.
16.822043
Destination Longitude
Enter the longitude of the second location. In the following format:
- Decimal degrees, e.g.
-93.079391
Find the Closest Destination
Calculates the direct distance to multiple destinations and returns the closest one.
Origin Latitude
Enter the latitude of the first location in the following format:
- Decimal degrees, e.g.
41.40338
Origin Longitude
Enter the longitude of the first location in the following format:
- Decimal degrees, e.g.
2.17403
Destination
Specify the locations (by latitude and longitude in decimal degrees) from which you want to find the closest one.
Sort Distance
Calculates the direct distance to multiple destinations and sorts them by the distance.
Origin Latitude
Enter the latitude of the first location in the following format:

Enter the longitude of the first location in the following format:

Sort Order
Select whether to return destinations in ascending or descending order.
Return Limit
Set the maximum number of destinations Boost.space Integrator will return during one execution cycle.
Destination
Specify the locations (by latitude and longitude in decimal degrees) which you want to sort by distance.
